Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Prepare the turf renovation program
   • Identify the turf renovation site and undertake field measurements and tests
   • Select and calculate renovation materials and resource requirements
   • Interpret existing design plans and documentation
   • Develop a renovation program containing the site assessment report, results of field measurements and tests, risk controls, and material and resource calculations
   • Develop and record schedule of works and specifications in the works program
2. Prepare renovation equipment
   • Check machinery maintenance logs and prepare machinery for the program
   • Carry out pre-operational and safety checks on tools, equipment and machinery
3. Implement the renovation program
   • Identify work team and contractors and coordinate work in a sequential, timely and effective manner
   • Organise and direct work pattern according to the schedule of works
   • Monitor renovation tasks and undertake remedial action
   • Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout and on completion of work
4. Complete renovation activities
   • Review site and surrounds for completion of works
   • Inspect and repair tools, equipment and machinery
   • Record expenses and review against budget
   • Review the renovation program for costs, scheduling, works procedures and quality of work
